Ok, so it is just about show time. Hannah is up in 18 days. She is so lean naturally that she could walk on stage today, or anytime in the last month to be honest, and blow the competition away. She is an incredible example of how you can stay in shape all year around, by dedication to your training and diet. May 18th in London for her, lets hope we get some sensible judges.
Then I am off to Macedonia with Helen. I have finally got her routine how I want it, and we are putting the finshing touches to the music, the cuts and the links. She is doign great, and I cant wait to get there and see what competition we have.
Dave Huge Fuge is up then, Yorkshire on June 1st. He is just a freak, and his posing routine is incredible. Cant wait for that.
SLIM 2 WIN kicks off in May, so if you know anyone that needs to lose weight, this is where they should be.
And my own training has been a bit up and down. Had a small injury from some jui jitsu, sprained my elbow joint in an arm bar, so have had to take it a bit steady. Rich Long is sorting that, want to get back on some heavy deadlifts real soon. Got to walk it if you are going to talk it.

Pre-Contest
All 3 of my athletes, Dave, Hannah are Helen are in the middle of their pre-contest prep right now, so emotions and tempers are just starting to get a bit worn. Hannah is up first on May 17th, then Helen on 24/25th, and then Dave on 1st June. Right now all 3 are ahead of schedule, so we have some calories to play with. Dave is losing fat so fast that he has kept his regular seat in the Ganges on a Saturday night. Hannah is growing whilst getting leaner, and Helen is coming down every day to her best, and looking amazing with it. We have some slightly different plans for the final 10 days, and I expect them all to be very dry and hard on stage, no problem.

Slim to Win is coming...
I am working on it right now, my new Weight Loss program. not just weight loss, but for those that want it, a way to rebuild health and step out of the tired, diseased and out of shape body they used to own.
It is coming...

Arnold Classic 2008
I just got back from my 3rd Arnold in Columbus, what a great festical it is. Arnie's lecture on the Sunday morning is always the highlight for me. This year he spoke about his passed idol, Reg Park, and all he had taught him. Arnie in my opinion is the only man who can lead America out of the mess they are in. I was talking it through with a taxi driver, who wanted him in. She told me she never even knew why America had gone to war in Vietnam, and that since that time, the country had had only one good leader, Reagan.
Arnie also talked about having a plan, being focussed on what you wanted. He is, and will always be, a legend.
The womens fitness event, always the pinnacle for me, was a little short on the top performers, due to some contract issues with their management company. Nevertheless, Jenn Hendershott entertained as ever, in the way only she can.
In the mens event, the only one with any chance of argueing he wasnt on "super smarties" was Dexter Jackson, who won his 3rd title. The posing routines nowadays are completed to slow R and B tunes that make them look more like male strippers than bodybuilders. Thank God for Branch Warren and some "Get Psycho" by Slayer. Markus Ruhl was missed.
I hope to have my own athletes on this stage before very long. Watch this space...
